In the Fridge, along with a new batch of corn are Cukes & Zukes. In the our gardens are Beets, Lettuce, glorious Gladiolas, Basil, Parsley and more. In the garden at Wilson Farm is Swiss Chard & Kale. And the Chicklets keep hatching! The hen by the round bale had two early this morning and this afternoon there are 6 and one more unhatched egg.

Mystery of the Missing Chickens – Solved!
Lost a couple to Foxy-Loxy over a month ago, no trouble from him again thanks to neighboring dogs. But the nightly chicken count was down. Looked high and low as they might roost in a tree or bush if it got dark. Eventually two were found with an apparent agenda: Brooding. The hen in the iris bed had twelve eggs under her and the hen tucked into the side of a round bale still has seven. On Friday they began to arrive though not all survived. Currently the count is seven chicks in the iris and awaiting hatching by the round bale! Find Veggies in the fridge!
